“HOLDING THE HAND THAT HOLDS THE FUTURE.”
SENIOR PREP
Using technology wisely can open up a new world of learning.
Our senior students, aged 10 to 13 years old, are prepared for high schools of their choice. We encourage the application of skills through:
- Flexible thinking
- Collaborative learning
- Confident communication
- Technology
Our students are encouraged to think independently, empowering them as they develop into young adults. Problem solving, critical and creative thinking, decision making and life skills are key components of the academic programme preparing children for the road ahead.
Our class sizes are kept small at an average of 24 students in a class. The Senior Preparatory consists of children in Grade Four to Grade Seven.
The curriculum is a holistic one, encompassing Mathematics, English, Afrikaans, isiZulu, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, Art, Music, PE, Life Orientation and Technology. Students are required to choose between Afrikaans and isiZulu at the end of Grade Four and Economic Management Sciences is introduced in Grade Seven.
